The National Park Service has been protecting and preserving America’s treasured resources for more than 108 years!
On Tuesday, November 19, we’re hosting Exploring your National Parks so you can learn all about our local national treasures and NJ’s involvement in the National Park story!
Join Nick—a park ranger from the Sandy Hook, New Jersey unit of Gateway National Recreation Area—to hear the story of how the National Park Service came to be, and what could be in store for the next century.
Together we’ll learn about how the parks continue to evolve and grow, as well as New Jersey’s own role in the National Park story.
All are welcome to this free program; no library card needed.
